flexibility of the new Multipla’s ground breaking, three-abreast
seating configuration not only allows for extensive adjustment of
the front seats and the removal and relocation of the rear seats
into numerous practical formats, but also affords a class-leading
430 litres of luggage space – increasing to a cavernous 1900 litres
of flat-floor loadspace with the rear three seats removed from the
vehicle.
Fridge/heated compartment Although
referred to as a fridge, this unit can actually keep its contents
warm as well as cold – according to the driver’s wishes. It is
divided into two compartments with a total capacity of 18 litres,
and can easily accommodate three 1.5 litre drink bottles.
Bluetooth connectivity The
new Multipla marks the debut of hands-free, Bluetooth technology in
the Fiat model range, to ensure maximum driving safety under all
conditions. The system, available from 2005, allows the use of up to
three Bluetooth mobile phones on board, even when stowed in storage
compartments, jackets or handbags.
